Caregiver (PCA) - 3pm-11pm

About the Role

Wallick Senior Living is seeking a Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver to provide direct resident care and help residents thrive mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially. This role works as part of a team ensuring residents have a comfortable and safe place to call home.

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents
• Provide physical resident care including all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming, including bathing and toileting
• Answer call lights in a timely manner and respond accordingly to resident and/or family needs
• Motivate and encourage resident involvement in participation in activities
• Assist residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions within the community
• Lift, turn, and re-position residents as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Schedule

Full-time, 3pm-11pm

Pay

$16/hour plus shift differential

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Organized and self-motivated
• CPR Certified
• Nurse Aide Certification is a plus but not required
• Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers, residents, family members, and peers
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions
• Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus
