Caregiver (PCA) - 3pm-11pm

About the role

The Ashford of Sturbridge is seeking a Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver to join our dedicated team. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents, including all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Answer call lights promptly and address the needs of residents and families.
• Motivate and encourage resident participation in activities.
• Absorb and assist residents to and from activities, dining rooms, and other community functions.
• Lift, turn, and reposition residents as necessary.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Organized and self-motivated.
• CPR certified (Nurse Aide certification is a plus but not required).
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Previous experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care preferred.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
