Career Preparation Instructor

MTC operates the Edison Job Corps Center in Edison, NJ, providing quality services to local youth. We seek dedicated professionals who are committed to improving lives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare, and deliver career preparation lessons using various teaching strategies to meet student learning needs.
• Recommend appropriate training programs for assigned students based on background files, personal interviews, tests, and other assessment tools.
• Conduct pre-arrival contacts with potential enrollees, prepare and mail pre-arrival and safe arrival letters, and coordinate arrival activities with other center departments.
• Review and audit assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and service effectiveness, and prepare related reports.
• Participate in student employability programs and activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years related work experience.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Pay

$46,500 annually.

Schedule

Full Time, 8-hour shifts, Monday – Friday.
