About the role
Career TEAM is seeking an Adult and Dislocated Career Advisor/ Workforce Case Manager to provide career counseling, intensive case management, and follow-up services. This position requires 100% onsite work at the listed location.
Responsibilities
- Provide information and case management services to the community
- Complete intake and eligibility determination for the workforce program
- Assess job seekers’ employment and training needs and abilities
- Serve as a liaison between workforce development programs and community partners
- Enter data into and use any participant information system as required
- Guide job seekers through the preparation of individual employment plans (IEP)
- Counsel clients on available job opportunities, training programs, and other services
- Refer individuals to appropriate services, training programs, or job opportunities and follow up on those activities
- Conduct orientation sessions, workshops, job clubs, and other group presentations for clients
- Maintain accurate individual case files for each registered customer
- Develop a comprehensive Individual Employment Plan (IEP) for all customers
- Meet and/or exceed program benchmarks
- Participate in all staff-related events as required
- Complete all required reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in operations
- Strong communication skills and knowledge about community resources
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Ability to work in a variety of settings with a culturally diverse customer base
- Knowledgeable about the WIOA program and other workforce program requirements

- Ability to make well-thought-out decisions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, customer service, organizational skills, and communication skills
- A Valid Driver’s License
