Monday – Thursday: 8:45 AM - 6:00 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM

About the role

The Care Navigator: Intake Specialist - Float (CNIS) position is an administrative role responsible for the intake of all new clients. This position will administer mental health screenings, physical health measurements, and record required client profile fields. The Float CNIS will work at each location as needed and provide coverage for staff on leave or to meet increased demand (Monticello, Elk River, Buffalo, St. Cloud, and Waite Park).

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Process referrals from internal and external parties
  • Prepare and open charts for new clients
  • Schedule new client appointments and assign appropriate clinician
  • Obtain and verify client insurance
  • Meet with new clients to review and sign client forms and information
  • Take client’s vitals
  • Perform data entry

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Clear DHS background study
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record preferred
  • 18 years of age or older

Qualifications

  • 2 years of Administrative Assistant experience preferred
  • Administrative and Customer Service experience
