Care Assistant Days

About the role

We are seeking a Care Assistant to join Neale Court Care Home in Lincoln, part of The Country Court Family. The home is a welcoming and homely environment for those with various needs, offering 44 hours of work per week, including weekends on a rota schedule (shift times 08:00-20:00).

Responsibilities

• Helping residents with personal support and care
• Aiding residents' emotional well-being and social needs
• Serving residents at meal times
• Interacting with residents on a personal level
• Maintaining and developing residents' care plans

Requirements

• No previous experience as a Care Assistant is required
• Experience with people living with dementia is preferred but not essential
• Must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards this qualification
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to engage well with residents and their families
