About the role

We're seeking compassionate and resilient individuals to join the JRHT Care Assistant team at New Lodge. New Lodge is a thriving community in New Earswick that provides care accommodation for people aged 55 and over: it is a sanctuary for those looking to lead independent lives.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents and helping with day-to-day tasks
• Becoming a familiar face to residents and their relatives
• Guiding, supporting, and growing together as a team
• Fulfilling JRHT's purpose of creating an accepting work environment where people look out for each other and opinions and expressions are greatly encouraged

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK
• Successful DBS check covering regulated activity
• At least 6 months experience providing personal care and support in a paid or voluntary care setting

Pay

£13.87 to £14.53 per hour, depending on qualifications

Schedule

Shifts at New Lodge are from 7:00am to 8:30pm, including a 1 hour break. Full-time roles are 3 shifts per week (37.5 hours) and part-time shift are normally 2 shifts per week (25 hours).
