Care Assistant - Days
About the role
Within the Care Assistant role, you can really make a difference to our residents' lives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping our residents with personal support and care
- Aiding their emotional well-being and social needs
- S supporting residents at meal times
- Maintaining and developing the residents' care plan to ensure their needs are met
Requirements
Be no stranger to working long shifts
H ave good written & verbal communication skills
E ngage well with the residents and their families
H ave an understanding of people with Dementia
E xperience as a Care Assistant is preferred but not essential
H ave an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care or be willing to work towards this.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care or willingness to work towards this qualification.
Skills
Experience as a Care Assistant
Understanding of people with Dementia.
