Care Assistant - Days

Location: Hartrigg Oaks, York

Salary: £13.87 to £14.53 per hour, depending on qualifications

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents in the comfort of their own homes. Along with assisting residents and helping with day-to-day tasks, you’ll really get to know the people you support and become a familiar face to them and their relatives. We understand the importance of maintaining a familiar and supportive environment for our residents, and we take pride in delivering high-quality care right at home.

Schedule

Shifts at Hartrigg Oaks are from 7:00am to 8:00pm, including a 1 hour break. We have a variety of shifts available:

• Full-time roles: 3 shifts per week (36 hours)
• Part-time roles: normally 2 shifts per week (24 hours)
• Relief (bank) shifts

Essential Requirements

• Right to Work: You must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available for these roles)
• DBS: These roles will be subject to a successful DBS check that covers regulated activity
• Care experience: At least 6 months experience providing personal care and support in a paid or voluntary care setting
