Cardiovascular Technician RCIS

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

Requirements

• Vocational School Graduate, or High School Graduate / GED
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• 2 years of experience
• No travel required

Qualifications

• (ARRT-R) Radiography, or
• (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or
• (RCES) Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist

HCA Florida UCF Lake Nona Hospital is located in the southern Orlando suburb of Lake Nona, known as Medical City.
