Job Summary

As a part of a transformative new chapter in Heart Care at Creighton University Medical Center, you will round on hospitalized patients, providing critical care cardiovascular assessments for patients in pre or post-operative surgery. You will join a growing team working closely with the Division Chief of Cardiac Surgery as well as other members of the physician team, providing necessary information for team-based care decision making.

Responsibilities

• Round on hospitalized patients providing critical care cardiovascular assessments
• Collaborate with the Division Chief of Cardiac Surgery and other members of the physician team
• Provide necessary information for team-based care decision making

Required Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited advanced practice training program (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
• Meet board eligibility or certification requirements
• Active or eligible license in the state of Nebraska
• Strong floor and bedside skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients and families

Pay

$132,674 - $154,786 /year
