About the Role
A Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Associate is needed for inpatient coverage with a focus on supporting surgical and floor responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiothoracic surgeries and patient care on the floor and in the operating room.
- Provide 24-hour call coverage to support the surgical team.
- Collaborate with a team consisting of one surgeon and two APPs.
- Utilize the eCW EMR system for documentation and patient management.
- Possess prescriptive authority and Endovascular Vein Harvesting certification.
Requirements
- Eligible for or board-certified in relevant specialties (negotiable).
- Experience supporting cardiothoracic procedures preferred.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Additional Details
The role involves on-site work, supporting a full team, with flexible case load and patient volume to be determined.
