About the role

We are seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgery coverage in an inpatient hospital setting with a 420-bed capacity. The role involves inpatient and operating room (OR) coverage with no call requirement. Support staff includes 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) on day shifts and 1 on night shift.

Responsibilities

• Manage surgical cases and ensure continuity of care in collaboration with the surgical team.
• Provide patient management across all ages with support from other APPs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters.

Requirements

• Board certification in nursing.
• Prescriptive authority is required.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts, including weekends, nights, and weekdays.
