About the role

This role involves providing advanced cardiothoracic surgical support as a Nurse Practitioner in inpatient, operating room, and emergency settings.

Responsibilities

• First-assist on cardiac surgeries
• Perform endoscopic vein and radial artery harvesting using specialized systems
• Manage pre- and post-operative patient care
• Cover day and night shifts with on-call duties on a 1:6 schedule, ensuring continuity of care across all patient populations
• Adapt to variable case loads and support staff
• Provide comprehensive care for cardiac and thoracic surgical patients in an on-site setting

Requirements

• Strong surgical support experience
• Ability to collaborate effectively with surgical teams and nursing staff

Schedule

Day and night shifts with on-call duties on a 1:6 schedule.
