About the role
Provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical coverage in a Level 2 trauma hospital. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure continuous patient care in adult ICU and OR settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform procedures such as Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH), Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), and aortic valve surgeries
- Manage adult patients in ICU and OR environments
- Work in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Prescriptive Authority
- Clinical expertise in adult cardiothoracic surgery
- Strong teamwork skills
Schedule
- 8–10 hour day shifts with call responsibilities
- 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
