Cardiologist

About the role

Join a team composed of board-certified cardiologists, advanced practice providers, and strong support staff in Buffalo, NY. The position works in partnership with other hospital service lines including:

• Critical care
• Primary Care
• Hospitalist group
• Emergency department
• Diagnostic cardiac catheterization

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient coverage and call, outpatient E&M and cardiac testing services
• Weekday and weekend call coverage
• Cardiac testing includes EKG, Echo, Stress test, and others as agreed upon
• Cardiac CT reading is available
• Training for cardiac CT can be arranged
• Effectively communicate recommendations with attending providers
• Clearly communicate goals related to cardiac health to patients and family
• Participate in interdisciplinary model of care
• Provide educator and preceptor role to advance practice providers, medical students, fellows, and students rotating on care service
• Assist in quality improvement and educational initiatives as needed

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salary range: $450,000–550,000 per year
• RVU productivity in addition to salary
