About the Role

Haywood Regional Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Invasive Cardiologist to join Western Carolina Cardiology. This is a rare opportunity to step into an established, busy practice with immediate patient volume as you assume the practice of a respected retiring cardiologist.

Practice Features

• Hospital-employed position with Haywood Regional Medical Center, a Duke Lifepoint hospital
• Immediate access to an established patient base with strong referral relationships
• Collaborative, experienced cardiology team with mentorship available
• Ability to perform:
  • Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations
  • Pacemaker implantation
  • Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
  • Nuclear cardiology
  • Echocardiography
• Average clinic volume of 16-20 patients per day
• Consultative practice with excellent primary care referral network
• Shared cardiology call for excellent work-life balance
• Dedicated Advanced Practice Provider and RN support in the outpatient clinic
• Hospital-based APP support to assist with inpatient care
• Modern facilities with an experienced clinical and administrative support team
