Cardiologist

Responsibilities

• Assess new patients via a medical interview
• Order tests to confirm suspected conditions
• Diagnose patients via lab and test results
• Create a treatment plan for all patients
• Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies to patients
• Cover with patients’ PCP and Surgeon
• Provide ongoing care and checkups on all patients
• Pursue ongoing and continuing education to stay up-to-date with the latest research findings

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or MBBS degree
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in ABIM Cardiovascular Disease
• New York State Licensure
• DEA Required
• Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based patient care
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Interest in clinical leadership, collaboration, and program development
