Cardiologist

About the role

Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient general cardiology care across hospital and satellite locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cardiovascular consultations and ongoing patient follow-up.
• Interpret cardiovascular diagnostic testing and incorporate results into management plans.
• Manage general cardiology patients, including medication and treatment optimization.
• Perform cardioversions when clinically indicated.
• Conduct transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and apply findings to care decisions.
• Collaborate closely with advanced practice providers and other cardiovascular specialists to coordinate care.

Requirements

• Strong clinical expertise in general cardiology.
• Proficiency in diagnostic interpretation and evidence-based cardiovascular management.
• Experience performing cardioversions and TEEs (or equivalent clinical capability).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to support multidisciplinary care.
