Cardiac/Telemetry Nurse Manager

About the role

This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining and purchasing equipment, and overseeing departmental operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and conducting professional development.
• Participate in staffing, budgeting, and responding to operational changes to meet financial goals.
• Ensure delivery of patient care aligned with assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans, documenting appropriately.
• Develop and implement collaborative care plans based on patient needs and medical protocols.
• Oversee staff productivity, conduct performance evaluations, and address disciplinary actions.
• Manage staff schedules, payroll, and communication, including staffing adjustments and overtime management.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience: 2-5 years (minimum), with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills essential.
• Ability to coordinate patient care, manage staff, and ensure departmental efficiency.
