Cardiac/Telemetry Nurse Manager

About the role

This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining and purchasing equipment, and collecting departmental data.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff through hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
• Assist in developing staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, ensuring goals are met.
• Oversee patient care, ensuring interventions align with patient needs and documentation policies.
• Create collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.
• Manage staff scheduling, payroll updates, and communication, including performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure departmental productivity aligns with leadership objectives.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience; supervisory experience is optional.
• Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, with 5-10 years of experience and at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
