Cardiac Device Trainee

This position offers entry into a structured 1 to 2-year Device Technician Training Program designed to develop advanced expertise in cardiac rhythm management and implantable cardiac devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret device checks on: Loop recorders, Pacemakers, Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICDs), Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT) devices
• Evaluate and respond to device alerts and transmissions
• Complete MRI clearance assessments
• Provide patient education on device operation and safety
• Aid in patient communication and scheduling
• Perform EKGs as needed
• Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize device programming

Qualifications

• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
• ≥1 year of direct patient care experience
• Background in telemetry or cardiac rhythm monitoring
