Job Summary

Seeking a Cardiac Device Tech Level I for our practice who provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year Cardiology experience required working in a clinical practice in the area of Cardiology/Cardiovascular/Cardiac Sciences with direct patient care experience required
  • Minimum of one year experience analyzing and reprogramming cardiac pacemakers and ICD’s (Biotronik, Boston Scientific, Medtronic, and Abbott/St. Jude) OR cardiac device technology certification from a recognized device training school such as ATI or PrepMD preferred
  • Experience reviewing and managing remote device transmissions (Carelink, Latitude, and Merlin) preferred
  • Current BLS certification is required
  • Certification of completion from an approved cardiac device technical school (such as ATI or Prep MD) or program preferred OR educational/clinical experience to qualify for Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) preferred
  • Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) or Certified Device Remote Monitoring Specialist (CDRMS) from International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) within two years of hire strongly encouraged and preferred
