Car Wash Attendant

About the role

Part-time car wash attendant position with weekday and weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and explain available wash options.
• Assist customers at pay stations and guide vehicles into the wash tunnel.
• Field customer inquiries and provide recommendations on wash memberships.
• Maintain site cleanliness by taking out garbage, sweeping the lot, and pressure washing the wash bay.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and basic troubleshooting as needed.
• Report to work on time and adhere to dress and appearance standards.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and active listening skills.
• Strong customer service and sales abilities.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs and recommend wash memberships.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn a point-of-sale system.
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and professional attitude.
• Customer service and some sales experience preferred.

Physical Demands

• Frequent standing and walking throughout the workday.
• Use of hands; reaching with hands and arms.
• Climbing, balancing, stooping, crouching, and kneeling.
• Ability to work in damp, humid, and variable outdoor weather conditions.
• Regular lifting and/or moving of objects up to 25 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to moderate to excessively loud noise requiring hearing protection.

Working Environment

Outdoor car wash environment requiring adherence to OSHA safety guidelines and use of personal protective equipment (hearing, eye, foot, and hand protection).
