Car Wash Attendant

Location: 4099 Grandview Drive, Gibsonia, PA 15044. Part‑time position with flexible shifts including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and explain wash options
• Assist customers at pay stations
• Field customer inquiries
• Guide customer vehicles into the wash tunnel
• Maintain car wash condition: take out garbage, sweep lot, pressure‑wash wash bay
• Perform opening/closing procedures
• Basic/light troubleshooting of daily duties
• Report to work on time and follow dress/appearance code
• Perform other duties as assigned

Time allocation: 70% customer interaction, 20% site upkeep (cleaning/maintaining), 5% opening/closing procedures, 5% basic/light troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, including active listening
• Excellent sales and customer service skills
• Ability to anticipate customer needs
• Ability to recommend wash memberships to customers
• Ability to work as a team
• Proficient computer skills with ability to learn point‑of‑sale system
• Strong work ethic and professional attitude
• Capable of performing responsibilities with minimal supervision

Qualifications

Customer service and some sales experience preferred.

Physical Demands

• Frequently stand and walk throughout the workday
• Use hands; reach with hands and arms
• Climb or balance; stoop, crouch, and kneel
• Work in damp and humid conditions
• Work in outdoor variable weather conditions
• Regularly lift/move objects up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs
• Exposure to noise

Working Environment

Typical outdoor car wash environment. Noise level usually moderate but can be excessively loud; hearing protection and other PPE required. Must adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment (hearing, eye, foot, hand protection). Must perform job safely per standard operating procedures without endangering self or others.
