Car Wash Attendant

Part-time Car Wash Attendant position at Circle K, 4099 Grandview Drive, Gibsonia, PA 15044. Flexible shifts available: days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and explain wash options
• Assist customers at pay stations
• Field customer inquiries
• Guide customer vehicles into the wash tunnel
• Maintain car wash condition: remove garbage, sweep lot, pressure-wash wash bay
• Perform opening/closing procedures
• Basic/light troubleshooting of daily duties
• Report to work on time and follow dress/appearance code
• Perform other duties as assigned

Duties Breakdown

• 70% Customer Interaction
• 20% Site Upkeep (Cleaning/Maintaining)
• 5% Opening/Closing Procedures
• 5% Basic/Light Troubleshooting of Daily Duties

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, including active listening
• Excellent sales and customer service skills
• Ability to anticipate customer needs
• Ability to recommend wash memberships to customers
• Ability to work as a team
• Proficient computer skills with ability to learn a point-of-sale system
• Strong work ethic and professional attitude

Experience

Customer service and some sales experience preferred.

Physical Demands

• Frequently stand and walk throughout the workday
• Use hands; reach with hands and arms
• Climb or balance; stoop, crouch, and kneel
• Work in damp and humid conditions
• Work in outdoor variable weather conditions
• Regularly lift/move objects up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs
• Exposure to noise

Working Environment

Typical outdoor car wash environment. Noise level is usually moderate but can be excessively loud; hearing protection and other PPE (eye, foot, hand protection) required. Must adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and perform job safely per standard operating procedures without endangering self or others.

Supervision Received

Must be capable of performing responsibilities with minimal supervision.
