Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications
Education Requirements: BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, English, or related field.
Level of Experience Requirements: At least 5 years of experience managing proposals in a government contracting environment.
Demonstrated experience integrating process improvements, technology, or automation in a proposal or business development environment.
Strong understanding of the federal acquisition process, FAR/DFARS, and compliance requirements.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; comfortable learning and applying new technology solutions.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Other Characteristics

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred
Formal training in proposal management methodologies (e.g., Shipley, APMP certification).
Experience with AI-driven research and content development tools.
Working knowledge of pricing strategies and cost-volume integration.
Necessary Physical Requirements
Must be able to work in an office setting, sit for long periods of time, talk on the telephone, work on a computer for extended periods of time, and lift and carry up to 25 pounds on a periodic basis.
Must possess visual acuity to review written documentation; ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels and on the telephone; and the manual dexterity to operate a cell phone, telephone, and keyboard.
Work Environment
Work is performed remotely in a standard office environment (home office or equivalent).
Schedule and Flexibility: This is a full-time, exempt position based on a 40-hour work week, typically performed during standard business hours, Monday through Friday. As this role supports time-sensitive Business Development and proposal activities, work hours in excess of 40 per week may be required to meet critical deadlines, support peak proposal periods, and fulfill department and organizational requirements. Some flexibility in schedule may be necessary to collaborate across time zones and to accommodate high-priority or expedited efforts.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position will have supervisory responsibilities.
DOT Covered/Safety-Sensitive Role Requirements
This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety-sensitive” functions.
Additional Qualifying Factors
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results.
If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required and must also be able to obtain access to military installations.
