CAPPS Financials Travel and Expense Analyst (PeopleSoft FSCM version 9.2)

About the role

The role of CAPPS Financials Travel and Expense Analyst (PeopleSoft FSCM version 9.2) is located in Austin, TX with a hybrid work schedule. The position is long-term and requires a deep understanding of State of Texas policies and extensive experience with PeopleSoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Performing highly advanced consultative services and functional assistance work related to supporting the CAPPS Program.
• Supporting the CAPPS Travel and Expense (T&E) module with expertise in configuration, maintenance, and compliance.
• Ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, including multi-tenancy requirements.
• Maintaining and enhancing the system's performance and security.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure accurate data production and system efficiency.
• Participating in major incident management, disaster recovery, and upgrade testing.
• Preparing and delivering executive-level presentations and supporting audits.
• Supporting the CAPPS Financials Tower and other statewide systems including CAPPS, TINS, SPA, and USAS.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of State of Texas applicable policies.
• Technical expertise with PeopleSoft Application Designer, Integration Broker, SQR, SQL, BI Publisher, SAP BusinessObjects, and related technologies.
• Experience with PeopleSoft system configuration changes and batch processing.
• Knowledge of security best practices, NIST standards, and multi-tenancy for statewide ERP environments.
• Experience supporting 30+ Texas State Government agencies in a large public-sector environment.
• Experience with PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), Fluid UI, and Elastic Search.
• Experience with functional project management, service desk support, and disaster recovery planning.
• Experience with ITIL principles and best practices for IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, including the Expenses module and batch processing.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience supporting the General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Payable (AP) core modules in PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience with ITIL principles and best practices.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience supporting the CAPPS Financials Travel & Expense module.
• Minimum of 3+ years of knowledge and experience applying ITIL principles and best practices.
