About the role

We are thrilled to announce a major contract win with Yorkshire Water, supporting them in proactively and reactively maintaining their Wastewater Network for the next five years and beyond! We are currently recruiting for a Capital Projects Planner to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of planning preventive, planned, and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring all work is delivered within contractual SLAs while optimising travel routes and field productivity through a “Right First Time” approach.
  • Your day-to-day oversight of operational performance will enable you to identify non-completions, reallocate work effectively, and meet our service completion targets.
  • Work closely with Stores, Supervisors, and key operational stakeholders to ensure jobs are properly prepared, resourced, and executed.
  • Act as a point of contact for customer enquiries, managing issues with professionalism and accountability.
  • Maintain high levels of data accuracy within our work management systems and ensure that all activities, updates, and escalations are recorded promptly.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, participate in scheduled meetings with internal and external stakeholders, and deliver insight that enhances the effectiveness of the wider operations function.
  • Promote operational excellence and customer service, playing an important role in driving consistency, efficiency, and a positive experience for both colleagues and customers.

Requirements

  • Experienced Planner, preferably in the Utilities Industry
