Capacity Planner (Extended Coverage)

About the role
As a Planner on our Refrigerated Customer Service team, you ensure our markets have an optimal balance of available drivers and loads. You assign highly productive freight to drivers, minimize unpaid miles, and ensure on-time delivery in your plan manager role. Daily, you collaborate with our customer service team to ensure we have the right mix of freight for each day and that appointments are scheduled. Additionally, you work with our Fleet Managers to ensure drivers stay productive while providing service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Put together a daily transportation plan like a giant puzzle, thinking several steps ahead to keep drivers productive and customers serviced.
- Work directly with customers, fleet managers, and the customer service team to develop business, find creative solutions, and build strong, trust-based relationships.

Schedule
You will work 7 days over a two-week period, including every other weekend, on a 12-hour shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
