Capacity Planner (Continuous Coverage)
About the Role
Join Roehl Transport, a Forbes Magazine Best Mid-Sized Employer and ATA President's Award-winning carrier, in a transportation plan management role to help move America's refrigerated freight. As a Planner on our Refrigerated Customer Service team, you ensure our markets maintain an optimal balance of available drivers and loads. You assign highly productive freight to drivers, minimize unpaid miles, and ensure on-time delivery. Daily collaboration with our customer service team ensures the right mix of freight and scheduled appointments, while working with Fleet Managers keeps drivers productive and customers served.
Responsibilities
- Assign productive freight to drivers to optimize their routes and minimize unpaid miles.
- Ensure on-time delivery through effective planning and coordination.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to balance daily freight and schedule appointments.
- Work with Fleet Managers to maintain driver productivity and customer service.
- Develop business, find creative solutions, and build strong relationships with customers and team members.

Schedule
7 days on (12-hour shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM) followed by 7 days off.
