(CAN) People Greeter

As a People Greeter at Walmart Canada, you play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive shopping experience for every customer. By delivering exceptional customer service and supporting sales floor operations, you help build customer trust and loyalty. Customer Experience Associates connect with every customer, offering a friendly smile and helpful support that brings Walmart’s values to life for everyone who walks through our doors.

Responsibilities

• Provide and promote courteous and prompt service for every customer entering or exiting the store by standing at the entrance or exit door.
• Assist the loss prevention team by:
  • Attaching return tickets to all merchandise entering the store.
  • Identifying large outgoing purchases such as electronics and verifying the customer’s receipt (item and date).
  • Reporting any suspicious behavior to management and the loss prevention team.
  • Responding to ADAM code announcements according to guidelines.
• Understand and apply the SEA program by courteously addressing demagnetization failures, helping identify root causes, recording incidents, and escalating system failures to management for resolution.
• Ensure customers have the tools they need to shop, including carts, baskets, and flyers.
• Assist customers by answering questions and directing them to sales associates for further help, guiding them to various store sections.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and obstacle-free work environment by following company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
