Position Summary
The Campus Operations Coordinator at LACI plays a crucial role in managing the facilities of the La Kretz Innovation Campus, a LEED Platinum facility undergoing WELL re-certification. This role involves overseeing building equipment and services, coordinating janitorial, security, and parking vendors, and supporting the implementation of pilots and displays on Campus. The role also supports community management and promotes green building best practices.

What You’ll Do
- Facilities Maintenance and Coordination: Implement a sustainability-focused facility and equipment management program, including installation, maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Sustainability: Track facility sustainability data, recommend improvements, and coordinate the implementation of LEED, WELL, and other sustainability best practices.
- Community Culture: Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related requests, assist with community outreach, and support reception and front desk functions.
- Vendor Management & Purchasing: Maintain a project list, ensure compliance with procurement policies, obtain quotes, and support accounts payable processes.
- Emergency Preparedness: Act as a floor warden, coordinate emergency planning and training, and maintain emergency preparedness plans.
Requirements
- Experience in facilities, green buildings, or sustainability
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
- LEED AP, WELL, or other relevant green building certifications are a plus
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Proactive, pro-environment, and pro-solutions mindset
- Experience with security contractors/vendors preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- CPR/First Aid certification and Emergency Preparedness Team Member status

- Onsite from Downtown LA office 5 days a week

Position Details
This is a full-time position, starting immediately. LACI operates from the La Kretz Innovation Campus in Downtown LA's Arts District. As a rapidly growing organization, you will be joining us at the ground level, with opportunities to evolve with the company and shape your career here. The salary range is Associate/Manager Range $54-65k, commensurate with experience, education, skills, etc., and includes a comprehensive benefits package such as health benefits, 401k matching, professional development, commuter benefits, and more.
