Campus Operations Coordinator

Full-Time | Ideal candidate must be willing to work 8 hours shifts, between the hours of 8am-6pm. One Weekend Per Month Keep Things Running Smoothly. Support a Thriving Community. Make a Difference Every Day.

About the Role

Support a thriving community by helping coordinate vendor security services, maintain documentation, support emergency preparedness initiatives, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents, team members, and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support daily campus and building safety operations activities.
  • Serve as a liaison between Messiah Lifeways and contracted service security services.
  • Aid in scheduling, building safety training coordination, and campus logistics communication.
  • Maintain reports, records, and documentation related to campus safety logistics.
  • Monitor and follow up on operational concerns, incidents, and work orders.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response efforts across campus.
  • Complete routine campus inspections and operational rounds.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives for the Campus Services team.
  • Build relationships with residents, team members, visitors, vendors, and emergency responders.
  • Help ensure our campus remains a welcoming, organized, and well-functioning community.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid Driver's License is required.
  • Three to five years of experience in operations, facilities, security, administration, customer service, or a related field is required.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Previous law enforcement, military, healthcare, or facilities experience is a plus, but not required.
  • A First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification is required (or willingness to obtain).
  • The candidate must be willing to work one weekend per month.
