Campus Engineering Manager

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Engineering team.
- Oversee maintenance operations across both hotels.
- Manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and life safety systems.
- Administer preventative maintenance programs.
- Ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
- Manage budgets, inventories, vendors and capital projects.
- Partner with Operations teams to support guest satisfaction.
- Support Director of Engineering with manager tasks and additional duties.
- Support campus-wide sales strategies, promotions, and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering or facilities management experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a polished, professional presence.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Able to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, campus-based team environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as business needs require.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Professional Certifications: LEED AP, OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS).
- Knowledge of Energy Management Systems (EMS).
- Ability to lead and mentor a team.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
