Call Center Specialist - Remote - Part-Time (20hrs/wk) - Bilingual REQUIRED (Spanish/English) - $21/hr
The Call Center Specialist position involves providing consistent, quality customer service to both internal staff members and external patients. The Specialist will actively manage each call by taking ownership of it to enhance the customer experience and build relationships. Responsibilities include listening to patient requests and taking appropriate action, such as scheduling appointments, electronically transmitting messages to the clinical team, and answering questions regarding medication refills. The role requires demonstrating proficient data entry skills, knowledge of insurance billing, and maintaining confidentiality while exemplifying the highest level of customer service with a focus on efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls by taking ownership to enhance customer experience and build relationships
- Schedule appointments and electronically transmit messages to the clinical team
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding medication refills and other requests
- Demonstrate proficient data entry skills and knowledge of insurance billing
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to high standards of customer service
- Consistently improve job-specific competencies and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) required
- Associate's Degree OR Medical Assistant Certification + 1 Year Experience
- Experience in a Call Center or other busy phone system
- Electronic appointment scheduling experience
- Strong customer service experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to multitask
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills (a plus)
- Remote workers must live and work in the United States (territories excluded)
- Access to reliable, high-speed Internet required
Pay
$21.00 an hour

- Must be available for full-time training
