Calhoun's Banquets & Events Manager - Knoxville

About the role

Responsible for managing all aspects of Calhoun's Banquets & Events, including event coordination, vendor management, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute events from start to finish, ensuring all details are accurate and executed to perfection.
• Manage vendors and suppliers to ensure quality services and timely deliveries.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing excellent service and resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless event execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of event management experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with event planning software.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts as needed.
