About The Position
The Assistant, Events is responsible for assisting in the coordination and production of events from conceptualization through execution. This role balances on-site event execution with vital departmental administrative support, including developing project timelines, maintaining workflows, and managing vendor/permit processes. Working collaboratively across Chase Center, Thrive City, and offsite locations, the Assistant helps ensure all Warriors, Valkyries, and entertainment brand events meet our organization's high standards. This is a part-time position based in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for assigned events, assisting in the development and execution of company brand events, private and community events, offsite and other events as assigned
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external clients, guiding them from initial concept to final execution
- Maintain effective working relationships with all internal departments, clients and partners
- Develop and maintain project timelines, schedules, create floorplans and detailed workflows and event notes
- Manage the Events equipment process including, but not limited to onsite and offsite warehouse inventory, textiles, technology and vehicle management
- Setup and breakdown of equipment at events and training sessions
- Lead Championship trophy appearances and processes for all events at Chase Center, Thrive City, and offsite locations
- Oversee daily department operations by execution of administrative work and day-to-day errands and other tasks (department credit card expensing, SFFD permit submissions, and responsibilities as assigned)
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills And Experience
- Must possess valid driver’s license
- 6-12 months previous experience working in a customer service or events related role
- Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-level service
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks / projects at one time
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, GoogleDrive and AutoCAD is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to be creative and seek proactive solutions to problems and situations before and/or after they arise
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable working in an energetic and fast-paced environment including within large crowds
- Able to work flexible and sometimes demanding schedules (including nights, weekend, and holidays)

Compensation
$23.00 Per Hour
