About the role
CAH - RN-ED INTERNAL Carthage Area Hospital Emergency Room Nursing/Patient Care Support Full Time, night shift, 1900-0700.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting.
- Provide care that reflects initiative, flexibility and responsibility indicative of professional expectation with minimum supervision.
- Determine priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system.
- Communicate with Emergency Department physicians about changes in patient's status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies.
- Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
Requirements
- Current NYS license required
- One year of critical care or ED experience
- Required to obtain/maintain BLS. ACLS and PALS will be obtained/maintained within six (6) months of hire.
- Recommended to obtain/maintain Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications and/or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC).
- Encouraged to obtain/maintain their Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) through the ENA (Emergency Nurses Association).

Pay
Pay Range: $41.19-$58.37*+ Up to $20k Sign On****
