Responsibilities
- Supervise cage operations and team members during assigned shifts, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to internal controls.
- Provide coaching, direction, and performance feedback to Cage Cashiers; assist in training and development of team members.
- Maintain strict confidentiality related to financial data, operational systems, company procedures, marketing information, and employee/guest records.
- Monitor compliance with company SOPs, gaming regulations, and all federal requirements including Title 31 and anti-money‑ laundering standards.
- Aid guests and team members by providing accurate information regarding casino events, promotions, and amenities.
- Support cross department collaboration by responding to requests from other departments and assisting in resolving operational issues.
- Conduct audits, verify funds, and oversee accuracy of all cage transactions and paperwork.
- Administer disciplinary actions, when necessary, in accordance with company policies and HR procedures.
- Promote a positive, professional, and customer-focused environment for both guests and employees.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- One year cashier or banking experience preferred.
- Read, write, and understand complex instructions and appropriately complete all necessary documentation.
- Communicate appropriately with all casino customers, casino departments, and fellow team members.
- Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Proficient in English, verbal and written.
- Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to complete forms and basic mathematical functions.
- Knowledge of company policy and procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act, and internal controls.
- Able to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
- Good communication skills.
Additional Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Use of personal computer, 10 key calculator, photocopier, embosser, printer, bar scanner, currency counter, Credit card advances and check cashing system.
- Valid Colorado Support Gaming License.
Pay
Starting Pay: $29.00
Schedule
Various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
