Supervisor
About the role
Supervise work area technicians to achieve the efficient use of labor and the maintenance of product quality. Directs work area technicians including daily assignments, meetings, discipline, training, vacation scheduling, and time and attendance system accuracy. Works with Project Managers (PM's), Manufacturing Engineers (ME's), and Production Coordinators to ensure that production schedules and quality standards are maintained. Works with ME's and Production Coordinators to ensure that planning and resources (materials and personnel) are available to support production. Assign tasks and explain procedures to technicians. Trains and coaches technicians on assigned tasks. Identifies resources needed to complete projects on time and within budget. Responsible for work area safety issues and housekeeping. Shifts technicians to other work areas depending on project requirements per PM's request. Maximizes labor efficiency and productivity.

Requirements
Requires an Associate Degree or its equivalent with 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Strong supervisory skills. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and team orientation. Have good computer and communication skills.
