About the role
Responsible for preparing and serving meals in the cafeteria, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and serves meals according to recipes and food safety guidelines.
- Cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment and work areas.
- Ensures adherence to food safety protocols and maintains a safe working environment.
- Assists with inventory management and restocking supplies.
- Follows all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in food service or related field preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Food Handlers Certification.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety regulations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
