About the role
The Cafe Cook prepares food properly in large quantities for residents, staff, and visitors. Prepares food as assigned according to standardized recipes to produce an acceptable product. The cook participates in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) duties as assigned before and during meal preparation to ensure that an acceptable product is served. Evaluates products according to pre-determined standards and/or preferences. In this role, the cook will carry out supervisory responsibilities when the director is unavailable.

Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months’ food service experience.
- Serve Safe Certification is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Effectively interact with all visitors, residents, and staff.
Pay
Starting pay: $15.50/hour - $17.50/hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Full-time; Hourly, Non-exempt; Monday-Friday; 7:00am-3:00pm
