Cafe Cook

Lorien Bel Air is seeking a dependable, energetic Cafe Cook to join our culinary and nutrition services team. This role is ideal for a passionate culinary professional who enjoys food preparation, dietary compliance, and creating high-quality meals in a healthcare or senior living environment.

About the role

The right candidate will take pride in their work, collaborate well with others, and help create a positive dining experience for our residents. We are looking for a cheerful, enthusiastic cook who enjoys learning new techniques while adhering to established dietary guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of dietary procedures and batch cooking
• Adherence to sanitation standards
• Proper knife skills
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull 25-50 pounds as part of daily duties
• Collaborate with the team and assist where needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (a plus)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Serve Safe Certification (a plus)
• Integrity and a strong work ethic
• Team player with willingness to support others

Pay

Starting at $17.00 per hour with same-day pay available for all employees.

Schedule

• Full-Time and Part-Time hours available
• 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Cafe Cook, Monday to Friday)
• 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Cook, every other Monday and Friday)
