Business Systems Analyst (Systems Integration & APIs)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Support Analyst to support our client’s team. The role involves integrating a new enterprise CPQ platform with core business systems, working closely with business stakeholders, IT, project teams, and third-party vendors.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather and document integration and business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements for technical teams and implementation partners.
• Develop business specifications, data mapping documentation, and integration requirements.
• Support the integration of enterprise applications using REST APIs and SAP data.
• Validate data flows between ERP and enterprise applications.
• Review functional designs to ensure solutions align with business requirements.
• Create and execute test scenarios while tracking issues through resolution.
• Validate end-to-end integration functionality and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and deliverables to project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise applications and system integrations.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Experience supporting enterprise software implementation or integration projects.
• Strong understanding of data mapping and system integration concepts.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and business validation testing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with SAP ERP.
• Experience supporting REST API integrations.
• Experience with enterprise data mapping and validation.
• Exposure to CPQ platforms or enterprise quoting systems.
• Experience supporting Quote-to-Cash or order management processes.
• Experience working with third-party software vendors during enterprise implementations.
