Business Systems Analyst, Sr.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a leader in software analysis and design, application and system installation, and implementation.
• Formulates system scope and design objectives through research and analysis to configure vendor-maintained systems or develop/modify in-house systems.
• Drives alignment with cross-organizational project teams and collaborates with business, technical development teams, and database administrators on requirements gathering and data design.
• Defines and implements business intelligence (BI) technologies to analyze aggregate operational data.
• Develops detailed functional system and programming specifications.
• Gathers user requirements, performs application testing and troubleshooting, and ensures data quality.
• Develops, implements, and manages data gathering and analysis processes, including indicators, dashboards, and reports.
• Evaluates software and hardware needs, designs processes, and ensures internal/external data interface communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Care Administration, Business, or equivalent experience (required).
• Three years of applicable experience (required).
• Preferred: 3-5 years clinical/healthcare background, 1-2 years experience with Generative AI tools, Master's degree in related field.

Skills

• Expertise in Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.
• Knowledge of Information Security strategies and practices.
• Strong communication, project management, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and collaborate across teams.
• Proficiency in structured Project Management Methodology and ITIL.

Working Conditions

This is a sedentary office position with occasional lifting up to 10 pounds. The role primarily involves sitting and is not exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
