Business Systems Analyst - Local to Pittsburgh, Cleveland, or Dallas
About the role
The role requires an individual to be onsite at one of CGI's client offices in Cleveland, OH, Pittsburgh, PA, Miamisburg, OH, or Dallas, TX.
Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements analysis, data gathering, interviews, and facilitated sessions
- Analyze and document functional business requirements
- Formulate and define systems scope and objectives
- Lead JAD sessions and stakeholder refinement sessions
- Data Analysis and development of SQL Scripts
- Devise and implement new data reports for end users
- Respond to ad hoc data inquiries from data consumers/end users
- Provide advice to data consumers on data provision
- Work with developers and subject matter experts to identify risks and adjust project objectives
- Participate in product release activities
- Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems
- Support IT lifecycle processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of relevant technical experience
- Understanding of and experience with the banking industry
- Experience with the collections platform “Debt Manager”
- Strong business analysis skills
- Experience working in agile frameworks
- REST API (Web services) and Microservices expertise
- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of Postman and Swagger
- Knowledge of wireframe tools like Figma or Balsamiq
- Data Analysis and Database query skills
- Strong leadership and collaborative skills
- Superior analytical and problem-solving and resolution skills
- Self-motivation and strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to tackle challenging work situations and resolve conflicts positively
- Strong communications (verbal and written) skills
- Solid technical writing experience
