BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST (FT)

Job Responsibilities

• Affirm that assigned information systems meet the business needs of all users.
• Learn the business operations of the areas supported.
• Assist in standardizing processes related to the use of all business applications and software.
• Respond to user requests for assistance regarding the correct and productive use of business software and modules for Admissions, Billing, Finance, Accounts Payable, HR, Payroll, and Materials Management.
• Act as the liaison between hospital users, the MIS department, and system vendors when necessary.
• Work with MIS Technology Services personnel and hospital users to implement new system enhancements and resolve day-to-day system-related problems.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, though candidates currently completing their degree are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in hospital operations, such as Patient Access, Admitting, Billing, Revenue Cycle, or application support, is preferred but not required.
• Candidates with strong institutional knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and a demonstrated aptitude for learning and supporting systems are encouraged to apply.
