Business System Analyst

About the role

The business systems analyst is primarily responsible for coordinating data from a variety of sources to develop reports needed by various internal and external customers. This position also supports senior analysts by maintaining and updating systems, including but not limited to the contract management system, phone reporting platforms, patient satisfaction platforms, and other systems as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data from multiple sources to develop reports for internal and external customers.
• Maintain and update various systems such as the contract management system, phone reporting platforms, and patient satisfaction platforms.
• Support senior analysts in system-related tasks.
• Manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and facilitate problem resolution.
• Ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Attend early morning and evening meetings as needed.
• Develop and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers, including executive team members.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational, communication (oral and written), and analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, accounting, economics, statistics, information science, or a similar field preferred.
• A combination of relevant education, certifications, or healthcare work experience (particularly with Cerner EMR) may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• Business Analysis Certification preferred.

Physical Demands

• Position involves standing, walking, stooping, and occasional carrying and lifting of lightweight materials (up to 20 pounds).
• May require sitting for extended periods of time.
• Requires visual acuity and depth perception to recognize words and numbers.
• Requires hand and finger dexterity and hand/eye coordination for using a computer keyboard and common office equipment.
