Business Sys. Analysis Senior Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Business Systems Analysis Senior Specialist to join our team in Dallas / Westlake, Texas. This role involves gathering requirements for new features or enhancements for a portfolio construction platform for data analysis, coordinating and running User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions, and collaborating with technology and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements for new features or enhancements for a portfolio construction platform.
• Coordinate and run User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions.
• Collaborate with technology and business teams to develop complex, enterprise software solutions.
• Research, optimize, develop, and author solution requirements, user stories, and specifications for moderate to complex software systems.
• Utilize systems analysis methodologies, including data analysis, data mapping, flowcharts, use-case development, story writing, system configuration, gap analysis, and product documentation.
• Work with APIs (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) and query relational databases using SQL.
• Apply Agile development methodologies in daily work.
• Leverage generative AI tools to increase efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with the User Design team to gather and communicate user requirements, finalize front-end interfaces, ensure consistent user experience, and work with design tools like Figma.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of brokerage domain experience as either a Systems Analyst (SA) or Business Analyst (BA).
• Minimum 8 years of overall experience as a Systems Analyst or Business Analyst.
• 8 years of advanced experience as a Systems Analyst supporting the development of complex, enterprise software solutions.
• Willingness and ability to comply with full-time in-office work expectations in the Texas office.
• B.S. in Finance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Brokerage experience and familiarity with Trading capabilities (strongly preferred).
• 5+ years of experience with Structured Query Language (SQL), querying relational databases, and general programming.
• 5+ years of experience working with APIs (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
• 5+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills; proactive, organized, highly responsive, and committed to quality.
